Brazilian law authorized a foreigner to acquire their own home in Brazil and obtain permanent residency
Individuals who intend, with their own resources of external origin, to invest in real estate in Brazil with the potential to generate jobs or income in the country can apply for an investor visa.
The real estate investment is subject to the acquisition of a property, located in an urban area, in an amount equal to or greater than R$ 1,000,000.00 (one million reais), which may be:
a) acquisition of built real estate;
b) acquisition of real estate under construction.
The minimum investment amount may be less than 30% of the total provision ( R$ 700,000 ), when it comes to the acquisition of real estate in the North and Northeast regions of the country.
